just a few great trails we explored last weekend.

Nice area. The wife and I were camping about 50 km South of Jasper last week. I think we'll be heading back there next weekend (weather permitting). We were hoping to find a decent fsr to explore in the area. Any suggestions?

Those Mt"s were outstanding. Never aired down, (30 PSI) almost each of those pictures were different trails. went though Mud, Sand, Rocks, Shale, everthing inbetween. I was alone with my GF and we never even came close to stuck. Where as with the stock Ruby tires I would have gotten stuck for sure.

in the one pic you can see the trail is pretty much two mud tracks in the grass. They just clawed right on with no problem in 4lo 3rd gear.

Great tires, aired down, OMG would have been even better.

Sorry not sure what "FSR" is ? Forestry Service Road ? if so use 734 Goes south from Edson to Nordegg, then still south from Nordegg to essentiall the 1A just outside of Cochrane. Get a Backroads book, they are awesome ! Was diligent in tracking the roads displayed on the map to reality and it was bang on the whole way.

 

hmm I would be rolling through that way on the 17th but somthing tells me trying it with my BFG A/T's and no winch isnt a good idea.

 

Looks like a little trail damage there on your windshield. Some great looking trails though, looks like fun.

 

Those are ok tires, likely you would get stuck in mud, but sand and rock aired down you would be fine on most of those trails. OF course if it's raining then who knows. That is what friends with winches are for.

I may have to jump in on this run... Never wheeled the nordegg area before.

 

I will have to try and get out there too. Got to get out one more time before I park it!
