Default Bedlined My Door Hinges

Bedlined my door hinges for a day project. Turned out very great in my opinion. Gives a great custom look.

And even better, nobody in my town has anything like this i think.

Mostly due to laziness, also its a little more work to take the hood off. Most likely will get done at some point though.

Prob going to do the inside of the hard top next.

Cool look!

Out of curiosity, did you do this for the look, or does it serve a functional purpose? When I bought my Jeep, I was warned at the dealer not to chip the paint at the door hinges when I removed the doors, or they could rust. Was this the reason? Again, cool look

everyone of my latches are starting to rust.the paint is bubbled up on them.i took it back to the dealer and they will fix it for free but i think i am going to bedliner them so i dont have to leave the jeep at the dealer for three days.from what i hear its a common thing. o well, its a jeep thing!!

No need to take the hood off..just remove the hinges and leave the hood on I think it was actually easier than the doors!!

Looks great! I'd like to do this to my hinges, too. They're all chipped up from rocks bouncing off them. I'm sure the bedliner would stand up a lot better than paint.

Hellyea it would. I'm just trying to find a bedlineing material I like. I have tried about four now and can't find one that gives it the rough texture.

Looks good Man

Hey man that actually looks pretty bad ass So how did you do it, did you remove the doors and the hinges or just tape it off and painted the hinges while on the door? Also what kind of tire and wheel combo are you running and do you have some sort of lift on your JK?
