Default ARB Switches Mounted On The Pillar

I am sure other people have put switches here. I searched looking for pictures but I couldn't find any so I thought I would post mine. I think I will like having the compressor switch so easily within reach when outside of the vehicle.

i thought about putting my windshield light switch there on the pillar, but it just so easy putting it right by my left knee where the speaker is. that little plastic part just pops right off. if add a light bar like i want to i will proabably put some switches on the pillar there. or like you said a compressor.

Thought I should add a picture of how I laid out where to cut the holes for those interested.
I just used a speed square to measure over a half inch from both sides of the pillar. This just gave me a straight line to measure from. The opening is 1 1/2in x 13/16in. I left 1 inch inbetween each switch (up and down). And went just a little "right of center" since there is some metal that would be in the way if you put the switches too far to the left. Then I just drilled a hole and used a jigsaw to trace the masking tape.

That is where I am going to put the rest of my switches.
There is just way too much going on in the center area with a sahara (power windows) and a six speed (daystar is out).

I just went down the pillar into the dash then brought the wires thru the firewall.

*be sure to hug a little right of center when you cut your holes. When the door is closed it is very close to the switches. I would mark it with tape like I showed and mount it up before you cut so you can "eyeball" the clearance.
