Your opinion on oil pan protection
There are actually a couple very recent threads on this subject. I'm using the Rancho oil pan protection cover.

I have the rockhard oil pan, tranny and transfercase skids. I have a couple dents in the oil pan skid to show that it is need. I don't really think it matters what brand to go with, just get some protection.
How you wheel you're rig will determine what type of protection you really need, or if you need it at all !!
Personally for me, I went with the Rancho oil pan cover, its pretty stout, it's less $$ than some of the other options, and IMO, it gives you kinda like a 2 layer system,, if you tear through the pan cover, you would be hard pressed to punch through the stock pan, and if you did,,, I don't think many other systems would hold up either.... I've hit the cover a few times, and so far have had no issues yet...
BUT,,,,, If I did mostly the big rocks of say Moab every weekend, and was dragging my stuff across rocks most every time I wheeled, maybe I would look at something different, but for the "occasional" hits my oil pan takes, I feel the Rancho cover will do just fine....

Our full replacement pan is a great option for protecting that area. Especially if you've already damaged your OEM pan.
The stock pan is 1.5mm thick, ours is 5mm thick! It's lighter than the big skids and a lot less expensive.
We've also implemented new QC procedures that means every single pan is pressure tested before it ships.

The Benchmark pan does offer a ton of protection, I went with it over the rancho which is kind of weak IMO (I didn't like the idea of glueing something over my stock pan) it's too bad that I had a huge problem installing mine due to problems from the factory NOT the pan. After dealing with the whole mess I wound up deciding to skid the whole front with skids from River Raider. I honestly wished that I wouldn't have run into so many problems with the Benchmark because it was tough as hell and I would've loved to use it. I say if your up in the air and just need pan protection go with the benchmark, if you're looking for more skid it.

i have the benchmark pan and not one issue.. i did buy mine last winter before the recent leaking issues came up. i love it, except for the shotty fastners it came with that rusted like a week later. very strong and well built. would pick that over the rancho any day!!!
