Default 6.1 Hemi

Just curious on a good price for a used 6.1 hemi out of a GC. Has 33,000 miles on it. Jeep was rolled over. Engine starts.

They are asking $5,900 for the motor and trans. Both are out of the vehicle sitting in the garage.

i would take it now if you want a 6.1l thats a great price. but really from what i have researched the 5.7 is the way to go. and the VVT is even better. The torque is in the low end.

you can get a take out 5.7 VVT for everybit of 1-2k less but if you have access to the 6.1 and if its close by and you dont care about the extra coin, Go for it.

10-4, Thanks for the info. I am hoping I can sell the camper this morning and maybe wheel and deal with the folks on the motor.
