Default 3.73 gear ratio and limited slip
my jeep came stock with 3.73 gear ratio with limited slip...is this good? im not smart when it comes to gears and stuff. i go through mud and some small rock climbing. mostly mud tho. do i need to upgrade?

Limited slip in the mud is helpful, I've found they are very limited on high traction surfaces such as rocks. 3.73s are "okay" - highly dependant on what size tire you plan on going to.

right now im running 305/65/17's measure out to like 32.6. but imma run those for a while. wanna go big one day but need to be reasonable for now

when you go bigger think about changing your gears. the LSD will eventually wear out and you can replace with locker or a other LSD.

yeah i wanna get lockers on it one day. but ill wait til it wears and til i get money for all the other components. tires.lift.ect
