Been looking into getting a good Hi Jack and Hood Mount, can you guys recommend some good opions for Hi Jack and Hood Mount systems. Please include where you can get one and pics. Thx for the help....

 

I bought a 48" Hi-Lift jack (Hi-Lift brand, not a knock-off) and Tough Stuff hood mount from a local supplier--Supplee 4x4 in Oklahoma City. Good price on both from him. Back when I had it mounted on my hood, it looked like this ...



Now that I have a rear bumper that can take the Hi-Lift, I reconfigured the Tough Stuff hood rack to hold a shovel and axe (it comes with parts for either configuration--which partially justifies the higher price than other brands).

I have the River Raider Hood mount which works great for me. Easy to put on and take off and out of the way. I ordered mine from their website.

Running River Raider mounts - Really solid and no wiggling at all when I am driving highway speeds. Got the mounts on-line from River Raider, the Hi-Lift from Amazon with free shipping, and the neoprene boot is from Quadratec.
