I believe 4WD carries them and they do free ship to store if you have a 4WD store close to you.

EDIT: Were you thinking of the QD-I or QD-II mirrors?

Thanks for the info. The closest one to me is about 4-5hrs. They are a little better only want $20. That still seems high to me. I don't consider myself cheap but it seems a lot of places rob you on shipping. Really can mess-up a deal!

Both Quadratec and 4WD are forum sponsors. You may want to send them a PM to see what they could do. Maybe a small discount might offset the shipping? Just a thought. But I do agree - sometimes, the shipping prices seem a little on the high side, but I guess they do it as an average - someone pays a little more, someone pays a little less.

I know. I always feel like I'm the one who pays a little more though.

Is there any good option for doors off mirrors? I don't like the idea of the RR brackets and the whole removing the mirror off the door thing. Are the Safari mirrors any better?

I think people that've used the American Outlaw mirrors have had good luck with them. Bit more pricey though. Just a thought.

Get a set of long stem Harley Davidson mirrors, drop them in the top hinge each side, tighten the acorn nut, adjust mirror and drive on down the road. Part numbers in my sig.

Post #8 in the thread link illustrates what I use, plus a number of mirror options are discussed:
