Just to make this completely clear...I did not in any way do anything illegal by going on to the dealership lot after hours. It is common for (I can only speak about the area where I'm from) for people to "window shop" the dealerships after close, and that is what I did. I did not vandalize any JK while I was taking measurements.
Not crazy about the Mountain/Islander side hood decals but I loved their matte black hood decal. I went onto the dealership lot after hours took the measurements of that decal and made my own one up for little money. I even measured the holes for the window bump stops/tie down an also the windshield washer unit...It came out perfect here are some pics. And like the military application they stole this from it does cut down glare from off my hood.

Thx guys....I called the dealership first to see if 1- They had them for sale...which they replied they don't really but could get me one for $175 if I really needed to have it.....an my 2nd ? was what time do you close. I got mine made for a shitload less and its prob better quality.

I thought about just masking off the hood off and taking a rattlecan to it.

You could but this will last longer and its not a pain in the ass to do...TEHO

Very interested, but I think I may just steal the idea and go measure one. I know a guy with a sign shop. Depends on cost when you post.
