Default First Trail Damage ...

Except for lots of pinstripes, scratches and a busted E-Disco connector ... this was my first real trail damage ... tore off my right side mirror and dented my half door ... I saw it get hung on a limb .. thought it was gonna fold ... it didn't ...

Oooooo and on a half door too. I put my half doors together myself and I think you might be able to get too it if you take off the trim panel. The right guy might could work out the dent from the inside........maybe.

I pulled the door panel when I got home. It's in a tough spot ... right over the top of the internal bracket for the front peg of the upper. I suppose a paintless dent removal guy maybe able to get in there. It pushed it in far enough to crack the paint right at the curve over .. so you can see in the picture I already hit it with some touch up paint. I think once the mirror is back it won't be noticable so I'm gonna leave it. The good thing is it didn't distort the sheet metal around the mirror mount itself ...

Apparantly there are companies making after-market mirrors as collision repair ports. Found one on eBay for $38 instead of the factory $135 ... I ordered it so hopefully the quality is decent.
