Default need help on rock rails

I currently have tube side steps...they gotta go. I need a rock rail that has enough of a edge to step on or use to get into the Jeep. (I have short friends!) It has to be reasonable in $ but durable. Any suggestions????

LOD is what I am looking at to allow my kids to jump in and out of the JK as I need to get rid of these stupid plastic Sahara steps...but I need to save some $$$ as they are kinda pricey but look good and would function well as a step.

Default Teraflex Rock Sliders

Been real happy with the Teraflex rock sliders, body mounted so they don't hang down and sacrifice clerance, aluminium so they are light weight but have stood up to some pretty good hits. The boys use them as steps to get in and they make a good step when I am securing things to the safari rack.

If you are on a budget I highly recommend the ones that come stock on the Rubicon. I picked up a used set off a forum member for about $150 dollars.

For the price you can't get any better than that

EDIT: Oh, wait, I just saw the thing about the step... never mind

I've always had my eye on the LOD rails, I'm just going to wait until I have the budget for them http://northridge4x4.com/proddetail....od=LOD-SRS1004
