Default Loose, Loose, Loose steering after my new lift.

I just finsished putting on my OME HD long travel lift with upper control arms, front and rear adjustable track bar.
The jeep has been aligned.
Checked to make sure everything is torked.
No play in ball joints.
New steering stabilizer about 6 months ago.
My steering is loose and requires the movement of the steering wheel several more inches than normal to get the jeep to turn. It is also a bit wishey washey like driving a boat. The steering wheel is tight when sitting still there is not alot of play when sitting still.
No bump steer, No death wobble.
Any ideas. Im at a loss.

Upper Control Arms? Did you install any Lower Control Arms with the kit? You'll need some LCAs to correct your caster.

I had the choice of upper of lower. I chose upper. The caster was adjusted and the axel is at the right angle.

did you install yourself? Was the full weight of the jeep on your new lift when you torqued it down? Were your control arms loosened when you installed?

Your description sounds just like a loose track bar. I'd check all the bolts again.

I've just been a lurker on this one, waiting for the answer to reveal its self in due time. Now I just have to know. It was something really simple wasn't it. Always is. One of those...

moments I bet. We've all had one. So...

What's yours?
