Default Question about Superchips programming - return to stock

I'm about to take the Jeep in to have a transmission leak looked at and am going to return my Superchips tuning back to stock.

I have it programmed for premium fuel as well as different gears (4.88) and different tires (35's). If I return it back to stock, am I going to lose my programming settings for the gears and tires for the speedometer or it is just returning the power programming back to the stock setting?

You need to set it back completely to stock. If you leave anything set (TPMS, tire size, gear ratio, etc) the programmer will still be linked to the vehicle. If then the dealer updates your PCM you will not be able to reprogram the jeep with the flashpaq when you get it back.

When you first plug in the flashpaq it will say something like "programmer is linked to vehicle" (or something like that) if any settings are non-stock. To get mine completely back to stock I had to flash it back to the stock tune and then after that was done go into advanced settings and set the TPMS setting back to stock. After that I didn't get the message when first plugging the flashpaq in that is was linked to the vehicle. The dealer updated my PCM and when I got it back I had no problems reprogramming it with the flashpaq.

Thanks for the info, that's what I was afraid of. It's going to suck not having a correct speedometer on the drive to the dealership. I'll have to use my phone's GPS speedometer app to guide me there.

I need to return mine to stock but I cant remember what tire diameter in the programmer my stock saharas are, does any one know?

Ive seen them listed on Bridgestone's website as 32.06 but the programmer only works in increments of .25

the problem isnt voind warranys, its if the dealer "flashes" the jeeps computer with a superchip program in it you cant use the programmer anymore and you have to pay superchips to unlock your programmer. Anytime you take your jeep to the dealer you should always return it back to stock on a programmer, you never know if the deale rwill flash your computer
