Default Help! Popping/Snapping noise coming from rear end!

Factory posi was fried and I was wanting new gears anyway so I had 4.10's installed and a Nitro Powr Lok Posi. First day or two was fine no noise everything seemed good, then I started getting this loud snapping/popping noise when I come to a dead stop and then turn left and/or sometimes right. Took it back to the shop that installed my gears, they looked for loose bolts etc. in regards to suspension components but found nothing, I dont believe they opened up the rear end. I've beaten my brains out trying to figure out what is causing this noise, I really dont wanna pop the cover off of the 44 to see broken ring gear teeth or destroyed spider gears although im beginning to think thats exactly whats happening. It's been making this noise for about a week, the jeep still drives just fine and the posi definitley works. Anyone have any other ideas as to what this might be?

P.S - The guy who did the install has been wrenching on Jeeps for almost 25 years, he's done hundreds of gear installs however this was his first time doing them on a JK.

Jeeps been sitting for the last 4 or 5 days, so today I decided to drain the 44 and see what came out. Much to my displeasure I found this...

Cracked tooth from one of the spider gears in the new posi. I guess i'll have to call the guy from just differentials that I bought it from and see if he can warranty it through Nitro Gear and get me another one. At least now I know what the snapping noise was when I was turning. Other than the tooth there was just a bunch of fine metal shavings stuck to the drain plug. Havent pulled the cover yet to see if there is anymore damage, i'll leave that to the shop I deal with.
