Default Trying to See what everyone Thinks??

Is installing the gussets on the front axle really needed or will it last at least 100,000 miles? What does everyone have and if I was to plan on changing the front axle down the road anyway...is there a point to it??

Thanks for the input!!

The axle C's on both the d-30 and d-44 are a known weak point as far as getting bent especially with oversize tires. Some on here have bent there's with just a little bigger than stock tires.
I have the EVO gussets on mine.

I ordered the ego gussets , because its better to-be safe then broke down on a trail. Plus a couple of hundred now is way better than a new axle later because you broke the one you got trying to save a few bucks.

My two cents...

$50 will get you the gussets
you can save a great deal of coin welding them yoursef

and they will also help keep your axle in good order if you tend to drive bad roads a bit or hit the speed bumps a little faster
