Sorry if this isnt in the right spot, but i guess I could be modifieing the Jeep. But i was wondering what yall do to keep your dogs in the Jeep. My pup loves to ride in the jeep, and with the top up and doors on it's fine, but with the top down or doors off i always have to keep a really close eye on her, and alot of times cant take her with me. She hasnt jumped out while the Jeep was moving, but i still get really worried about it... So is there something yall have rigged up to keep the dog in the Jeep... maybe something that attaches to the roll bar? or something i could just buy? IDK if this is what you do or if your dogs are just trained enough that you dont have to worry about it. My girl is only about 8 months old and will sometimes just take off on me... So any suggestions would be greatly appreciated...

There are different "nets" you could buy. COP 4x4's cargo nack is bad a$$ and sure to please any pup. If your dog is comfortable with a harness, you could attach the harness to a seat bracket or tie down point in the tub with a short rope. Just make sure the rope isn't long enough for the pup to hang itself over the side of the Jeep.
Edit (again) to fix typos. Damn my fat fingers don't work well on this iPhone.

i just tied a short leash to the loop in the back of the middle seat (the one for baby carseats)
i made sure the leash can only extend far enough to reach the walls all around
he gets to move around a little and is able to stand on the wheel wells but cant get any further
piece of cake for peace of mind

My brother-in-law does the leash over the roll bar for his big dog. I've got two small dogs so I have a kennel I put in my back seat. I put blankets in it for them to lay on and it's a very open kennel. Lots of room for them to stick their faces out and roomy enough to duck down and escape the wind. They usually have their noses out the sides for a while then just lay down and nap. Sometimes I put them in the cargo area for a little more wind protection. Especially when the doors are off.
Two terriers that both wear a harness. Use leash extenders attached to the rings behind the back seat. I have a seat cover on the seat plus a blanket for them to lay down on. The can move around about a foot or so.

have two boxers- each in a harness with a coupler leash that keeps them together which is attached to a leash. got a large carabiner that I run around one of the rear seat head rest posts and attach the leash to this.

she fell out once so I came up with this. It slides front to back so she can get in the front seat or even jump back to the cargo area. But she can't go far enough to the side to fall out.
