Default Steering shaft hitting headers(banks) after lift.

I have a 08' 4 dr Rubi and just recently put on a 3.5" rough country susp lift as well as a 1.25" body lift. Since the lift was put on I have noticed the steering shaft keeps hitting the headers (Banks) when I turn or hit a bump. I went wheeling this weekend and now the sway bar disconnect will not engage. It makes it rather difficult to drive. Its under warranty but the dealership blames both issues on the lift. That figures! Do they make an after market steering shaft that is shorter or would I have to custom make it? Any thoughts? Thanks, E

The dealership is not off-base in blaming the lift(s) for the issues.

Without personally examining you Jeep, I'd guess that the body lift affected the relationships between various parts; as some are attached to the body (upper steering), and some the frame (headers and lower steering).

As for the swaybar, first check all the wiring.
