Default Need opinions on lifts for our jeeps (2 door)

With all the options out there for lifts, its realy hard to decide on which one to go with. So my question is this. What is a good lift at the best price? If you guys would help me out that would be great. For the people that have had there lifts awhile, give me the pros and cons and would you buy the same lift if you started over? I'm looking 2.5 to 4 inches.
Thanks for all your help.

You need to to tell us what you intend on doing with your JK. How much road VS off road use. How extreme are you planning on going as far as terrain. To many factors to consider before asking this question.

+1 Budget is also going to be a constraining factor.

As a lot of us do my rig is a DD. So I'm thinking a 6 in long arm would prob. not be my first choise. I do go to our closest trail 3 or 4 times a year. And of course the less expensive the better. I think that 4 inches will probably be max lift for now. I would like to find something that could progress as I go along.
So like I said just want some ideas. So throw some suggestions this way. I mean if someone bought a lets say 4 inch rough country or something would they buy it again or was it a big POS. And for a few more bucks could have bought alittle better one what would it be?
Thanks

2.5" to 4" can range from $250 to $4000. Throw a $$$ number out there and I'm sure you'll get a more informed response.

I purchased the RC 3.25" lift for $400.00 . I run 35's and love the way it handles and rides. This is my DD as well. I'm not looking to do any extreme rock crawling with this JK so I took that into consideration when shopping around.

Yea I know there is a big price change for dealer to dealer. I guess if I had to put a cap on it I probably wouldn't want to spend more than say 1000 bucks for one.
I guess what I'm asking is what lift have folks had the best luck with on JKs?

X2 on the Rough Country 3.25" lift. This is a great "starter kit", if you will.

The only thing I would HIGHLY recommend in addition to the kit is an adjustable front track bar. I went with the JKS one which costs $144 from Dave (http://northridge4x4.com/proddetail.php?prod=JKS-OGS121).

So, $379.95 for the lift, another $144 for the front track bar, and for a total of $523.95 you have yourself a great starting point that can grow with you.

Check out our 3" premium plus SRS (silent ride system)

It's perfect for the two door JK, with the shocks lengths we use in the kit, you don't need to worry about your drivelines. It comes with everything you need to properly lift your JK

It's the same kit were giving away soon

i have the 3.5" rubicon express standard kit and it rides great. I have the bilstein 5100 shocks on it. Its not very expensive and is also my DD. I take it wheelin about once or twice a month and gets its fair share of being abused.
