OK, so I have a set of 4 gutted door shells in black. They were off my first JK Unlimited. I was thinking of having them cut into half doors so I had a set. I no Longer have a 4 dr and now own a 2 dr Rubi. Since the front doors are the same part number on both I figured all I need are mirrors, handles, and the locking pins as well as the pastic insert. So my ? is is there a place where i can find a template so i know have the doors to cut to match the half door style. Or should i just sell the 4 doors and buy something else. The shells alone are 2400 a shell from the dealership for some ridiculous reason. But if I can get a set of have drs fro 500 I guess its worth it. Or sell the shells cheap and buy something else for the build like new drive shafts.

Yeah I would agree, I would try selling them and buy the half doors you want.

x3 to sell. You will have a hard time modding it to a half door.

 

OKAY...sell em it is... didnt think it would be that difficult converting to half dr's. My brother is a welder and fabricator. i figured if i could find a template. Just cut.Box in the window channel and ready to roll. Guess not
