so we went grocery shopping on Saturday morning and after a year+ of her pissing and moaning and complaining about how much time/money/ research I spend on the Jeep. Low and behold there is a stock X on the ugly ass wheels and 28" tires parked in the HEB parking lot, I saddle up next to my Jeeps brother from a different mother, and get out and my wife starts laughing, I ask her whats so funny and she was laughing at how little the other Jeep was. She then told me to take a picture! Then she asked if I hoped the other Jeep owner would come out while we were inside shopping? She has never showed any interest before, but now I think she is starting to understand. Mines on the left on BFG MT 32" and a OME 2" lift, nothing excessive but enough to matter. Much more to come "the light is green"

 

Man theres a huge difference. I may just have to do a two inch lift and get a rougher tire. Mine came with stock 32s. Looks good

 

i feel your pain. the gf always is busting my balls about how much time i spend on jk and looking at jeep parts. but i get the same response every time we park next to a fellow jeeper that is all stock. that's great. congrats on the green light! i just got mine for the trip to moab. now comes the serious cash

The other day we pulled up to a brand new bare bones stock unlimited jeep pulling a trailer full of camping gear and ohv's, (we were in her car) she looks over at it and says I wish we were in our jeep. I didn't comment....... I just smiled and gave him the jeep wave.

Ever since then I think she has a change of heart and actually starts looking at other jeeps and knit picks them apart and compares them to ours......

If anything I would say I have a green light as well! ( nothing verbal but from her actions I would say YES

 

I converted my girlfriend the first day we went trail riding. She loves ***********s and that and now she loves loves loves jeeps. She can pick out a yj cj tj and jk and can tell the differences between them. she always knows what to get me for any holiday haha.

 

its all fun and games until you are the one coming out of the store and see that you have the smaller jeep........happened to me after i came out and got a side by side comparison of 40's vs. 35's firsthand

You're only running 32"s? Those look a lot bigger to me for some reason.

The wife never 'complained' about the time and money, but did not really understand .... until I took her up to Uwharrie and run some trails. I was wondering how to ask her, if she liked it, as I got back in after air'ing up the tires - but before I said a word she said "I think you need this lifted and bigger tires" I pumped my fist and said ohhhh yeah Baby!

So now a lift and 35's are in my near future!
