Default 3" Ultimate vs OME LT

Obviously both great kits, but which is the more complete kit, and which is the performs better on the street and light offroading? This is important for me because we have children and we like doing alot of things together in the Jeep when we have family days.. Makes it alot of fun.. I'll be running 37's with the flat bushwackers.. Thanks guys..

the ultimate lift comes complete with front and rear upper and lower control arms. the LT kit only comes with front uppers - it's enough to do the job and well but it's not as complete as the ultimate. granted, the ultimate costs a lot more too.

You are comparing two very good kits.

The OME LT Kit comes with shocks and now it comes with Front lowers not uppers . A change we made a few weeks ago. Also the LT kit comes with shocks.

Which ever way you decide let me know And I will see what I can do for you .

I think Dave has the Ultimate at around $400 more, which if the kit is a better way to do it, it's worth it imo.. Do you think the 3" FT LA rides any better than the Ultimate, or is 3" of lift not enough to notice any type of difference? Thanks WOL.

Thanks Dave. This is my 5th Jeep, but 1st Wrangler. I've always been a vette guy so learning how to do all this the right way takes a while.. A completely different world, but more fun to be honest. Will definitely be calling you once I get eveyrthing nailed down.

The long arm rides smoother than the short arm ultimate.

Also, both the long arm and the Ultimate are now SRS (silent ride system). Dave can hook you up with either kit

Awesome.. Is upgrading to a LA from an Ultimate an easy deal, or would it be smarter doing a Premium first with the intention of an LA upgrade in the future?

Its very easy, we sell the upgrade kit. Its control arms and brackets. You use your shocks, coils and track bars from your current kit.

It would be cheaper to run the premium plus then up grade to the long arm in the future. The premium plus kit has all the parts needed for the long arm upgrade.

You might find some useful opinions with this thread. I did the OME but added adjustable track bars & control arms.
