Default can i add a winch onto my stockbumber?

i own a 2010 rubicon and am in the middle of moding it out i just purchased a 3.5" terflex with 8 arms and shocks. not im looking at winches. can i install the winch onto the stock bumber and would i need spacers or levelers to prevent front end from sagging

Yes, you need a winch plate. A few guys added a fairlead into the bumper too.

how much sag at the front end depends on how heavy the winch is and how stiff your springs are.

You're absolutely correct. The problem is,some of us don't like stubby bumpers. Personally I think they look goofy. After I bought the bumper I would have had to spend another $150ish to get the end caps.

At that point a RR bumper ends up costing $500.

I used the Harbor Freight universal winch plate on my stock bumper with a Smittybilt Xrc 8 didn't measure the before and after so can't help there. If you do this you will have to do some cutting of the both the steel and plastic parts of your bumper also, alittle on the frame horns. I think someone posted the link already.

I didn't Stubby mine, I can't get any pictures to upload sorry
