What gear with 35's auto 4 drs. 5:13 or 4:88?
I know this point ha been treated a lot in the forum before. I have been reading the threads for months and I know most people recommend 5:13 for auto 4 drs. The main thing is I live in Houston, Texas which is very flat, (no hills at all). I drive 90% of the time in highway 65-70 mph, 1 hour driving to go work and 1 hour back home. Some times winds are strong here. Would you guys still recommend me with my driving go with 5:13 or I should go with 4:88. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I have the feeling 5:13 will be to short for everyday but I will go with your experiences and advice. I will be installing my lift kit, gears and tires next week. I will be running BFGoodrich 35's KM2.

When you go with 5.38’s you stand a greater chance of breaking your gears. The Rubicon has a 4-1 transfer case so why would you go with a shorter gear on a Rubicon? I have a Rubicon with auto and 35’s and I’m going with the 4.88. I would say it is about 50-50 between the 4.88 and the 5.13’s.
