Default Wheels: MB72 versus Pro Comp 7069... Fight!

I'm trying to decide between Discount Tire MB72 and Pro Comp 7096 alloy wheels...

MB72

7069

I'm curious to hear what everyone thinks about the look and quality differences between the two wheels. The MB72 is 17x8.5 with 4.5" of backspacing and the 7069 is 17x9 with 4.75" of backspacing. Both weigh about the same and neither is hub-centric. I'm going to be running 35x12.50 (315/70R17) tires.

The 7096 wheels are about $175 more expensive for five wheels.

Thanks!

I have the pro comps with 35" km2s, but only for a short while, so far clean up nice and have handled mild off roading well

Procomps look better imo.

Although since I'm kinda been there done that I would rock the 7005 instead.

This time around I went with Rugged Ridge Wheels with Stainless Rim Protectors for some ultra cool looks.

I think they look a bit better too but I can't decide if they look $175 better.

I like the PRO-COMP. But for the price I would buy the others. They don't look that much better.

ProComp looks better; IMO, the deep dish makes tires look better and larger.

Actually, I just got a new price from a forum sponsor and it looks like I can get the 7096 for the same price as the MB72. I guess I'll go Pro Comp!

Thanks for the feedback!

Why not get 16" ProComp 7069? Tires are cheaper on 16's and the wheels are 4" BS.

Just a thought.
