Default teraflex leveling kit, still have rake

So I installed the teraflex leveling kit with the 2" spacers up front and the 1" in the rear. However, I still have a forward rake. What I'm wondering is this... I like the way the rear sits, so I don't want to remove them, but is it "okay" to add another .5" spacer up front which I believe would make it level out.

Would I need anything else? Meaning, would the provided extended sway bar link with the leveling kit be long enough to compensate for the extra .5"?

These are the .5" spacers

Thanks in advance for any replies!

Do you have an aftermarket front bumper, or other heavy accessories on the front of your Jeep?

I find it odd that the leveling kit did not level your Jeep

I, personally, wouldn't stack spacers. Thats just my opinion, there might be others who disagree with me, but that just doesn't sit well with my gut. Instead, I'd recommend that you remove the pucks from the rear and see if that does it for you.

Also, I have to ask, did you re-install the factory isolators when you installed your leveling kit? I wouldn't imagine that if you overlooked this step that it would cause this outcome, but it's worth double checking that you did in-fact reinstall them.

Add a rear bumper and tire carrier and that will drop the back some

thanks for the input guys... bumpers are stock, no winch or anything heavy.. and yes, the stock isolators are in there. I was also thinking maybe I could just take the fronts out and install 2.5" pucks to compensate, rather than stacking the .5" on top of the 2"...

I am not familiar with that kit, but there is a teraflex rep on this site. Sounds like you just removed 1" of rake and the factory has a lot more than that. That said if you remove all the rake I don't think you will like it. The body panels already are "lower" in the back, if you have no rake it looks like it is squating in the rear. Also when you add a load (people or whatever) it WILL squat.

come on just go ahead and lift it .

HAHA thanks for the reply... trust me, as bad as I want to lift it, I'm just trying to keep everything as close to stock as possible since this is my daily driver. I'm coming from a TJ w/ 5" of lift with 35's... So for right now, I'm enjoying the mpg's

If you have decided to change it, I would replace the front with the correct size rather than stacking. you have to buy another spacer anyway, and could sell the shorter one.

There would be nothing wrong with adding a .5 spacer up front . Your front is not gonna droop anywhere near enough for those spacers to fall out or cause a prob.
