Default Help with DIY gear swap. 3.21 to 4.88

Could someone point me to a thread for some help. My mechanic buddy has the tools and know how for a Dana 44 but hasn't done a Dana 30. I have a new carrier and all the parts, but I'm not sure if I need any special tools for the Dana 30?

Any help would be great.

thanks for the thread... I couldn't find it anywhere. A few guys in my local club have done numerous dana 44's but never the 30, I just wanted to do a little research to make sure there was nothing out of the ordinary when it comes to the dana 30.

And yes I've seen the WTF post... thanks for the warning
