Can u do a 3 inch body lift with a/c a friend said no?

 

I don't think you really want to do more than 1" with a body lift, it would really stress the body mounts and you may have to lengthen some of the mechanical connections with the trans, tc, and stuff like that. I try to stay away from body lifts all together.

 

I've never heard of such a thing.

The largest body lift I've heard of was 1.25" (or so).

 

Besides all the stresses and modifications needed, they also look like a sh!t sandwich.

 

As far as I know, a 2in bl is as big as they make right now, and that's about as much as you can go with stretching some of the lines, wires and hoses, an ext goes on your steering shaft at the firewall. The 2in bl gap that it leaves is very noticable and you'll have some probs with a manual tranny shifter being kicked outta gear. Peeps already have enough probs with this on a 1in bl. and trying to get the shifter boot trimmed correctly. Besides anything more than a 1-1.25in bodylift is ugly anyway imo.
