I was just checking out the dual battery setup at Benchmark (John- your new website is a big improvement by the way) and I noticed Benchmark is selling a rear bumper/tire carrier combo that supports an 8k winch. Unfortunately there aren't any pictures. Has anyone seen one of these bumpers?

John...got any pictures you can share? I'm definitely interested to see what you came up with!!

 

Id be interested as well. I'll be ordering a dual batt kit around xmas and wouldn't mind having a rear winch bumper to put my rr 10500 in when my mile marker gets here

I'm hoping maybe Benchmark or someone else will chime in with some information on this bumper. I really want to see it because there just doesn't seem to be any rear winch bumpers for the JK out there.

Looks like river raider makes one too. Its sweet and has a tire cage option as well. Thats the route im going to go.

 

Hadn't seen that before. If you know, is the winch contained in the bumper or does it require use/modification of the rear storage area? I kind of like the version with the swing away tire carrier, but I wish the bumper had provisions to retain the factory hitch.

 

No idea, I imagine it sits in the bumper. But River Raider isnt scared of asking you to chop and hack though lol. I wont be able to buy it until after christmas or so. If you buy it make sure to post a review.

I'm interested as well. I'm not sure how it would be inside the bumper (winch). Guess it could if there was like a removeable plate to put it in that way and the plate had a roiller guide or something. Would just have to see some pictures like you are saying.
