I know this has been discussed before, but this is my 2 cents....so relax...
After a month of looking and researching hardtop headliners, I decided to go with the Soundcoat Jeep JK Wrangler Headliner from www.northridge4x4.com and glad I did.
This is a very easy install, the foam panels are about 1" thick and have a nice texture that compliments the interior. The back has a FULL adhesive that sticks good, possibly permanent, not a bunch of Velcro strips that you have to strategically place (no offense to you other manufactures).
First, I was amazed at how much the highway sound was reduced, I can actually talk and enjoy a conversation without trying to hurry up and get off the phone because I can't hear or tired of the other people not being able to hear me. I can listen to the radio without it blaring.
Second, there is a substantial difference on the amount of heat that is now NOT coming through the hardtop. I have even had to turn the AC down a bit on 100 degree days here in Texas, as compared to wide open in the past. I also think that it is going to insulate and keep the Jeep warmer in the winter.
I don't have any relationship with Northridge or Soundcoat, this is just my personal opinion on a product that I bought, installed, and love...

Here is the link if you are interested http://www.northridge4x4.com/proddet...=SOUNDCOAT-4DR
And some pics of my install

Just a heads up to potential buyers of any of these type products.
The panel shapes for the 2011 4-dr are significantly different from previous models (don't know about 2-dr. But they're probably different too) and require a redesign by the vendors. (yep, found out the hard way, but the vendor is being great about working to redesign and exchange)

I dont have any to compare too but once installed they do kill road noise greatly. Also act as a dynomat in a way and the upgraded stero sound is much better quality since installing. One of the cheapest upgrades w/ some of the best results.
I went with something similar, the Hotheads Headliner. (basically different company, same idea - and they're a vendor here on the forum), and I agree, it works great. Much quieter and cooler now. I'd definitely tell anyone with a hard top to look into getting a setup like either one of these.

I will definitely be looking into this. How easy was the install? Is there an exact fit or did you just have to kind of guess where exactly to lay it down because I'm guessing once it sticks it's not coming off or it will be partially ruined.
