Default Tailgate mod under 80 bucks

This is my homemade tailgate mod

2 rigid black plastic peg board from Home Depot - 4.95 each
2 quick fist attachments from Cabela's - 7.99 each
1 short handle shovel (HD) - 9.99
1 gerber camp axe (Cabela's) - 39.99

Cheap and easy and also solid as a rock (very sturdy)
Ill post more pics with my other gear later.

hope you like.

Default Why the pegboard??

Why did you decide to add the pegboard under the Quickfists? Is It just for looks?

Just curious...

I mounted it to the tailgate with self taping stainless steel screws.

Very nice - I really like the set up - working on an axe and shovel mount myself right now - hope is come out on good as this.....

Do you think the strap you have will hold the tools in a collision or roll over?

I like the mod, I might have to steal the idea. Is that a rancho tire carrier? Can I get a pic of it closed from the back and side? Thanks!
