Another Tube Door Build, well almost
I bought a Jeep Tube Door kit for 75 dollars online plus shipping. If you do an internet search with those words you should be able to find it. The kit comes with the pre-bent tubes. I used a 110v welder and a grinder with a cut off wheel to put them together. I then welded on 3/8 bolts for the hinges. I used a gate latch on the other end. I then painted them with spray on bed liner. I used a pipe bracket to attach the rear view mirror brackets. I then bought rubber pipe insulator to use as an arm rest and to cover my sloppy welds. All in all the doors are sturdy and cost about 150 to make and took about 8 hours.

Not to bad bro. Like the kit idea also, but for me at the place I buy metal that length of tube would cost me about 12 bucks..so for me it's more cost effective to jsut buy the bear metal and bend myself.
Your project turned out lookin great man..keep it up!

Those are pretty sweet. I wanted to try the same thing but am not that handy working with metal, so I fabbed up these instead, which aren't exactly tube doors but as close as I could figure out... mine are more like "invisible half doors".
