Default Pic Request: 18" wheels with 33"+ tires

Trying to decide wether or not to go to smaller rims when buying bigger tires. (18" Addicts on my Jeep now)

Show your pics if you have them.

Also weigh in with some pro's and con's that you have personally had with 18" rims.

I did plug in a few searches for something like this and didn't turn up much. If you have a link to another thread please throw it up here.

Thanks!

You know you want to go with smaller rims

17 and 16 seem to be popular. I personally love the look of my 16s with 35" tires, the extra rubber just looks good IMHO.

Not me, I love my 18's!! But I know what you're saying. I've always wondered what is heavier, rubber or alloy. I know that a 35x15 weighs a boatload more than a 35x18. Just as 18 inch wheels outweigh 15ers.

My wheel & tire weighs 114 lbs. Next time yours is off weigh it for me & shoot me a private message please.
Thanks

just posted this in the 33 page.....

2008 Rubicon
XD Bully (XD123) - 18x9 - 3.5bs
Goodyear Wrangler Duratrac - 295x65r18
no lift atm

the side shot on the grass is misleading. the ground is not flat there so it flexed a little making it look like the front wheel has more gap above it than it actually does.

below is a link to the album if you want to see more photos....
