Default Rear Shock Mount Skid Plates...let's see them

After some wheeling yesterday I was checking things out on the underside. I wanted to see if my evap skid plate took any scrapes. What I did notice is both shock mounts took some scrapes. Like for this to be my next mod.

EVO lower control arm skids. Invaluable in the rocks! I added them last year and have saved my rear shocks from being torn off the lower mounting point a number of times (see photos).

Note: EVO also makes a product called the "Rock Star" which gains you some ground clearance, but is a more complicated installation and you'll need new sway links and spring retainers.

Those tires aren't on the JK anymore, and I took those photos when the Jeep was still fairly much unscathed underneath.

Nice so they cover the control arm and the shock mount...I like those gotta order some next week. I think over plating is a mistake due to all the mud and debris they can build up and lower clearance levels. After looking at my rig after some 3 rated wheeling these seem like a must.

I know this is an old thread....

But, looks like EVO doesn't have the weld on version anymore?! :(

Can anyone confirm? I've looked, and can't find them.

I welded these on several years ago. Have worked well, only 1/8" lower and the shock can be removed easily. Still available from PureJeep.
