Default Installing a Steering Dampener/Stabilizer

Thanks to Joe Thompson at Teraflex referring me to Camp Crocker, and thanks to Camp Crocker and his crew for selling me some nice VSS shocks and steering dampener...

Shocks are a pretty straightforward install. No problem there. This is my frist time installing a steering dampener to replace the factory skinny. I just need clarification before I begin the install:

1) Just unbolt the stock dampener and bolt on the new one in the same place?

2) Do I have to adjust anything? If so, what specifically?

3) Does the jeep need to be lifted off the ground or is install on a flat surface fine?

4) What is the recommended torque setting for the bolts?

Any other tips and advice is great. Thanks

Pretty straightforward answer. Thanks WOL. Anyone else is more than welcome to put in their .2 cents. Just trying to get as much information as I can.

no problem - it really is that easy and straight forward. a 18mm wrench, 3-5 minutes of your time and you're done

Yep, WOL is right, it really is that easy. Two bolts and you are done.

Good luck and have fun.

Quick question:

Factory seems to have really tightened that bolt connecting the stabilizer to the trackbar mount. Any tips on how to loosen that bolt?
