Default Factory receiver gotta go .. I scrape it all the time ....

Anyone here just install the rear hitch receiver only when you plan on using it?

I seem it hit it all the time on the more crazy trails .... I'm ready to ditch it and install only if I plan on using it. I figure 4 bolts and 5 minutes isn't too bad.

I have used my factory receiver as a rear cross member skid. Factory bumper is Long gone.

I figure i'll leave it there and let it serve as a winch/recovery point or skid untill i get a bumper with built in receiver.
