Aussie Locker in D30
How do we all feel about the Aussie locker in the front diff.. D30
how does it really work (their web site sucks), and how will it perform on the road with ice and snow when in 4wd?
also keep stock limited slip in rear or change it out? how bad will i hate keeping it...

The Aussie locker is great and having a locker in front in the snow is far better than having one in the rear in the snow.
The only drawback to having a locker is if you have large tires is will put lots of stress on all those little driveline parts. Maybe 35s or smaller not to much concern but with 37s or larger I would be worried, just me don't like the sound of an something breaking on the trail. Been there done that! I guess you can call me gunshy now.

You're actually endorsing running an auto locker in the front on snow and ice ??
In 2wd, you may not even notice it is there. In 4wd off-road, it will be great. But in 4wd on snowy/icy roads?? Guess I'll have to take the opposite viewpoint and say that an auto locker would not be the best choice. Go for a elocker or arb, or a trutrac up front.
