Default Hi lift hood mount.

I have a few questions for people with the hood mount. Have you had any rusting. And when you pop the hood do you need to remove the jack? Any other opinions and tips would be appreciated. Thanks

Its bin on for 5 months and no signs of rust. I bought the neoprene cover for it also. Looks better. As for propping the hood up. No extra things need. Just like normal. Do make sure you have it mounted right tho

I have had mine for just over a year now and no rust. Hood opens just fine no need to remove jack.

I just actually took mine off yesterday and noticed that it lowers the hood but when I took it off the hood was back to normal. As for lifting it you cannot put the hood all the way back to the windshield.
