Auto / Rubicon / 37's

You want 5.38's

(heavy crawling and worried about pinion size, drop down to 5.13's)

The gear chart on this page should help, maybe not give you a def answer, but help. I'm not one to answer gear questions, I just felt like being the first to paste the link.

Would I be disappointed in the 5.13 with 37 coming from the 4.10 with 35?

I am disappointed with 5.13's and 35's. (actual measured height is only 33.5") But everyone has their own tolerance...

Altitude and hills/mountains may figure a bit into my perspective, so take it for what it's worth.

I have 5:13 and would be happier with 5:38's ( auto) but like people have said, if you crawl a lot with D44's you will break things..

5.38's if you pull alot of hills
5.13's if more flat driving.
Both will do just fine offroad, and with 5.13's you can still get up to 70 mph without revving the crap out your motor.

He has an AUTO, not a manual. You can't compare the two. (open the link above and spend a few minutes comparing the charts...)
