Default Metal on Metal contact, what to do to prevent corrosion?

Putting on windsheild light mounts, but don't feel good about metal on metal contact. Looking for a good product to help prevent corrosion. Any review on products not to use or any recommendations?

What brackets are you using? Are they powder coated?

Zep Iron Clad. Tranparent Film, inhibits rust, protects for years. Provides an impenetrable barrier. Good stuff. I have used it in salt water environment W/ good results.

I cut out a piece of rubber from an inner tube and used it like a gasket.

Same, had an old dirtbike tube laying around so I traced the bracket and made a gasket out of it.
