So I have been searching a bit about a switch that I can put in that overrides the ESP. Im not patient enough to dance with my steering wheel every time I want it on or off.

Ive read about that the Purple wire with the light blue swirl is the one to splice the switch into. This wire is found on the drivers side under the dash.

Can anyone chime in who has this done and please let me know if Im on the right track. Can you post pictures if possible?

do the "dance" and leave it that way and you will never regret it....ESP is a useless piece of sh*t. steering wheel dance still keeps the ABS system functional which is actually usefull.....only downfall is the remaining idiot light on the dash.

 

Ok. I turned mine off for the summer. Now I can't get it back on for the winter. Anyone else have this issue? And how do I get it back on? I followed instructions in manual and no go!!!

 

It's NOT the one with the swirl... Search more, there are TONS of posts on it and some pics floating around here as well.

I don't even have the right wire in my bundle on my 2007 Sahara...
