Default Teraflex Quick Disconnects Stability?

Just wondering if anyone with the teraflex quick disconnects could help me out with this question. I recently had my stock sway bar end links snap off the sway bar and am now looking for extended end links because i have a lift.

I was considering getting just extended end links until i saw that the quick disco's were only 40 dollars more but I'm still 50/50

I just want to be sure that these will be as sturdy as extended end links and will not break the pins and come off randomly. Please let me know if there has been any problems with them or if you have noticed a change in on road stability or handling while connected. Thank you.

JKS quick discos on stock height. No noise or stability problems here.

Doesn't that lift ship with new rear links? - then you move the 'longer' stock rear links up front? (or am I reading that wrong? I can see the short stock front links causing issues, but the longer rears moved up front should have been ok...)

Anyway, there used to be an issue with bigger tires ripping the pins out of the TF discos when turned/flexed. I believe that has been fixed, though. (haven't seen any new posts on it in the last year and a half or so, at least)

For stability, you won't notice any difference.

I would definitely go with discos over non-disco's.

Unless you have the edisco system, get quick disconnect end links. Spend alittle more money and have the ease of disco'ing without tools.

Yea they did come with extended rear sway bar end links however when 4 wheel parts installed the lift they didn't put the rear stock end links in the front when they should have.

I ended up just calling northridge4x4 and talked to david. He was very helpful and recommended the JKS quick disconnects. I think that's what I will eventually be going with. It's also convenient that they are adjustable.

Only issue I could possibly see in the future is where to stow away the sway bar when disconnected. Im not really fond of the idea of just strapping it up with cable ties....

The quick discos should come with a set of pins that mount up on the frame to hold the arms and swaybar up when it is loose.

I've had mine on for about 1K miles now with no issues. They feel pretty much the same as the solid OEM links. Also just wheeled with them for the first time and they were a breeze to disconnect. They rotate up and connect to a pin at the radiator mount, and also hold the swaybar out of harms way. No straps or zip ties! If you want, I'll snap a quick pic of what the set-up looks like disconnected, but it'll have to wait till it's light out tomorrow. It only takes a minute or so to switch.

no worries i've seen the set up but I ended up going with the JKS quick disco's.

Honestly I'm just trying to avoid any more problems because ever since I bought my Jeep it's had a lot of issues so much so that my parents want to sell it. First my front track bar bracket snapped and almost caused a wreck on the freeway, then a spark plug didnt work anymore, then there was debris in the oil pan and the car wouldn't start, now this.

And I guess "this" is a dead kitten?

4wd definitely screwed the pooch by not moving the rear links to the front. The directions clearly state to do this.

I know. I will be calling 4 wheel parts tomorrow and talk to them about it. They should cover the cost of the damages as stated in their warranty after install. I didn't realize that they had not moved the stock rear end links to the front like they were supposed to. That kind of pisses me off especially when it says to do so in the directions
