Default Teraflex 2 1/2 lift kit using Sahara shocks

I'm thinking of installing a teraflex coil lift kit w/ adapters on my 2009 Sahara 4 dr. It does have a tow kit installed.
Can I get away with using the black Sahara shocks, or should I just bite the bullet and go with rubi shocks or others? The car is my DD and I do only lite off roading but am trying to find the time to do more (hence the lift kit). I do like the ride I have right now as far as smoothness. (the wife is almost at the tipping point though).

Any thoughts?

For your needs, the shock extensions will be fine.

If you are adding a 3+ inch lift (hint: those coils give more than 2.5"), do yourself a favor and read this one in the Suspension Faq's stickied to the top of this modified area.

"Q: What is Caster? How much do I need?"

What he said. Keep your sahara shocks until they wear out or if you decide to upgrade to a full lift.
