Default Best 3.5 inch lift?

I've gotten a jeep wrangler unlimited x 2007 and no mods :( .... Yet ) so first I'm planning to get a rock country 3.5 lift but I have mixed feelings because of bad reviews. I want to go up to $1500 for a lift. Also, I want to run 33" but I want space for 35" just in case. Post pics of your lift and specs and thanks in advance

im guessing you mean rough country...if you plan to stay at a 35" tire, check out a 3" lift. personally, i like teraflex. any good lift, over 3" is going to be a)IMO, overkill for 33s or 35s and b) be over your budget of 1500.

the more popular lifts on the forum, in no particular order
TeraFlex
OME
rock krawler
AEV--some debate over these kits, research it

For my 2010 JK and 35s, I have chosen the Northridge OME Long Travel JK lift kit. This is the best choice for me. Look at it, compare it to the others, and let us know what you think. It is just under $1500 with the holiday special

I have 2" old man emu lift with HD springs and run 35" mud terrains.

Installed the lift early 2008. Been fine.

i would run number "prices" between lifts and see what best fit your wallet, i'm saving for the aev and just go for 35s since you got to regear anyways

RK 3.5 mid arm kit with front and rear lower arms can be had for less then 1500 with shocks. Only thing to add to it are rear brakelines and bumpstops. Its a great kit and it rides great.

Rough Country? Rock Krawler? Haven't heard of rock country...

I want to go up to $1500 for a lift.
Lots of options. Look past the price tags and compare components!!!!! (you could do worse than the OME Long Travel setup)

Also, I want to run 33" but I want space for 35" just in case. Post pics of your lift and specs
Open the JK Show & Tell area, then look at the stickies up top.

Only debate on the AEV lift is the use of cam bolts (comes down to preference). I love my AEV 3.5" lift, rides great, does not rattle and will go anywhere any other lift will go.
Pretty sure all AEV lifts have swapped over to their new lowering brackets. No more cams...
