Default 2.5 coil lift install hiccup

so i tried to install my TF 2.5 coil lift on sunday, but i got stuck, and had to back track and put everything back together.

i took the tires off, easy.

i was trying to take the front sway bar links off, but i couldn't get either side to budge. i haven't used any WD-40 yet, cuz i was out at the time, but from the write-ups and research i was doing, it didn't seem like anyone else had the problems i came across.

i've read all the write ups very thouroghly and i iaven't found anything.

any insight for me? busted a socket wrench, and i almost busted another one. friend and i both tried, and we both failed. i could use some help with the install if anyone is around the seattle area and has a garage. my dad's tools are pretty limited, and my apartment garage is too small, nor do i have the right tools for the job. i'll provide the beer, and bring over a pizza or something along with some helping hands. any sort of help will be greatly appreciated!!

PB Blaster

Spray all the bolts the night before. If they are really stuck, spray for two nights before the install. A little heat may help also.

And grab a breaker bar if you don't already have one. The extra leverage comes in handy.

X2 on the PB Blaster or Liquid Wrench. When I did my front swaybar discos I had to grab the bumper and push with my feet on the wrench as hard as I could to get the bolts loose.

BOOO!

Try the lubricating spray. If that doesn't work swing by a shop and ask them to loosen the nuts and offer the mechanic a few bucks for his time. Other then that you need more leverage, like a breaker bar. Sorry I have to ask, you were turning it the correct way?

Try a breaker bar. A floor jack handle or hilift handle works well

Default Penetrating Oil

A half and half mixture of automatic transmission fluid and diesel fuel makes a wonderful penetrating oil, far superior to PB blaster, in fact nothing commercial beats it.

I used an impact on mine. It was the only thing that would take them off. Unfortunately it snapped one of the rear ones that I was supposed to move up front. No big deal, just gave me an excuse to get two new ones for the front

as mentioned, a breaker bar will do the trick.
