I've ran 37's under my TJ for the last 5+ years with no issues. Haven't broke anything on my front D30...ever. I've ran some extreme trails, too. It's just in how you drive. Go easy on the skinny pedal and actually crawl over rocks instead of doing burnouts on them. LOL.

Nope...but we're talkin about a "TJ" front D30. U definitely need to sleeve and gusset yours! I have a JK Rubicon on 37's, too. It's about to be sleeved and gusseted! Other then that, drive it right and it will treat you right.

Don't waste that kind of money on a 44!!! If ur gonna spend it, get a 60 and be done with it!!! Then u can run 40's without any worry.

LOL! Another thread asking the same questions...

No matter how many new threads you start asking the same questions, you are going to keep getting the same answers. Just depends on who replies, what their past experience is, what their financial situation is, and how mechanically inclined they are.

-Keep the 30 bone stock and keep replacing broken parts
-Keep the 30 bone stock and go have fun while you save for a PR
-Fully upgrade the 30 and keep replacing broken parts
-Fully upgrade the 30 and buy a PR 'when' it breaks

Seriously, there are plenty of recent threads asking this question, in addition to all of yours. There is no set in stone 'right' answer. Just what is right for 'you'. And only you can answer that...

Depends on which housing and which options you go for. The unlimited housing, prosteers and rcv's will add a good chuck to the price. And don't forget to add the costs of swapping over some of your D30 parts to the PR44 and installing it. Could add a few hundred to the total cost.

the D44 vs D60 re PR - what someone is saying is if your going to spend the money on a PR then just get a 60. one day you will perhaps get a matching rear and be golden.

personally I dont see why anyone would spend more than they have to. I have the 44 and plan to sleeve and gusset. BOR has great success with there kit and running 40"s with no complaints of bending once done. so why not. D30? have not researched that. the pumpkin has to be different but there is more reinforcing that can be done with additional kits so it could be done. just more money. so you have to consider what you are willing to do as someone has already said.

I am reinforcing my 44 but I know other local guys just sprung for the PR. $2gs and they were done.

but I digress.
iv heard that dana 60s are not good for a DD...
and would i need hydro assist for 37s DD?
