Default 35's 0n 16 x 8's

Can someone tell me if I can run 315/75 R16's on 16 x 8" wheels. I was going to get the 285's but now I'm thinking I want the 315's if they'll fit. Any advice would be a great help!

No problems.

But, go out to the mfg's site for the tire you are looking at and check the specs list, it will show the recommended rim width range. Some shops will not mount bigger tires on rims that are narrower than the mfg's spec. If you run into that issue, just check another shop. (can be an issue with the skinny stock rims, shouldn't be one for the 8"...)

You sure can. These are 315s on 16x8s no rubbing / clearance issues at all...

same here, 315/75/16 on 8" wide wheel. no problem. im sure most of this board with 16" wheels and 35s are doing this... just be sure to use a wheel with 4.5" or less of back spacing.
