Default AEV 3.5 or 4.5 lift?

plan on running 35" tires. just can't decide on which size lift to go with. Also trying to decide between the MT/R's or the KM2's

3.5 is designed for 35s....

4.5 is designed for 37s.....

Go, 3.5 it's been reported to sit much higher than 3.5 inches

Good luck.

I have the 4.5 w/35's MTR's which are close to true 35's. I will go to 37's in the future.

Nice looking rig.

Approximately how much lift did the 4.5 give you? Closer to 5" or 5.5"?

Like NH-JK said the 3.5 is for 35s and the 4.5 is for 37s. I have the 4.5 premium with Duratrac 35s buy plan on 37s once these wear out.

4.5 is only about $70~$80 more.

I plan on keeping my JK for a LONG time, so I am looking hard at the 4.5 even though I'll only run 35" tires for a while.

If nothing else, the extra clearance it provides is nice for this short bus I drive. (unlimited)

Go 3.5" and KM2s. That's what I have and it looks, works and fits great. Surprisingly good street manners too. 4.5" is overkill for 35s.

Recommend going with the 4.5". Its not much more money and if you plan on keeping the jeep for a while and want to start running 37's, your already set. I would go with the KM2's.

Here is a side view of my 4.5 with 35's. It really doesn't look bad. Now if I had flat fenders; yes they would look small!

To my way of thinking, go 3.5 with KM2s, and if you go 37 do flares. Looks better; but that is so subjective
