Default Hi lift jack or AEV jack base for 35's?

Hello all... I'm about to order a full size spare and I'm wondering which one of these is better for a 90% daily driver... Any input? Im running a 3.25 lift and 35X12.5's.

ARB jack base. unless you have aftermarket bumpers, theres really no place to jack with a hi lift. with that said, i have an ARB base and it really isnt needed. sure, you have to turn the jack more to get the tire in the air, but the stock jack extends high enough without the base. a hi lift would be better for offroad, but more for winching/jumping over an obstacle, not changing a flat.

I do have two D-rings in the front on a Warn bumper and a D-ring in the back in my receiver hitch. I've never used a hi-lift, is it pretty unstable? I think I saw a base for it as well to stabilize it somewhat.

a Hilift jack is a multi tool, don't forget that. Its great for jacking emergencies but shouldn't replace a good scissor jack.

I agree with GonWhln. The Hi-Lift is great for getting out of some tough situations by jacking the JK and pushing it off the Hi-Lift, etc., but for ordinary tire changes, I like a good bottle jack under the axle for stability. I think the Hi-Lift has become one of those "mods" that everyone thinks they must have to be a real Jeep person. I see more and more items like this that are purchased by people but have very little to do with their ordinary use of the JK. Sorry, not dishing on Hi-Lift, just other things I would rather put my money in than one of them.
