Default Double check my setup / Lift / Rims / Tires

I currently have a 2.5" TF coil / shock lift.

Im about to get some 315/75/16 Goodyear MTRKs on on procomp 16x8 with 4" back spacing.

http://www.4wheelparts.com/Wheels/Xt...n=PXA7069-6873

TF says minimum 4.5" back spacing with the lift, the FAQs on here say 3.75"-4.5" backspacing for 35" tires.

I just want to double check i am not missing anything.

thanks

You're good to go.

TF recommends less backspace because of their rear links, and pretty much everyone recommends 4.50 (or less) when moving up to 35x12.50 tires.

How about stock rims ? If I plan on putting on 35x12.5x17 MTR's on stock Rubi rims?!? Can I get away with 1 1/2 spacers?!? On a 2.5 coil lift with bushwacker Flatties!!

You're fine there too. Plenty of people run a 35x12.5x17 on a stock rim with 1-1/2" Spidertrax spacers.

And with the 2.5 coil lift, you wouldn't even need the flat fenders to fit the 35's (or vice versa - you can run 35's with flat fenders and no lift) So, if you have both the lift and the flat fenders, you'll be more than fine.

Or...if you haven't purchased the tires yet, check Planman's "how-to" on fitting 37's with a 2.5" lift and flat fenders:

Not to sabotage the thread; Where exactly does the outside of a rim with a 4.5" backspacing line up? With the wheels pointed straight do the stock fenders overlap the wheel and tire or do they line up perfectly when you look at the jeep from the front?
P.s . The only reason I ask is because of the states with fender laws.
