Default 2.5 lift questions

So I have been trolling this forum for a while and did many searches but I am still kind on the fence with making a decision on a lift. I really want to pull the trigger on the Teraflex 2.5 coil lift not bb. I picked up some slightly used set of 17" moabs to mount some 35x12.50 bfg km2's on with since I hav the Sahara 18's. My question is on the lift and clearing the 35's disconnected loaded with cargo or passengers. My bumpers are stock and plan on keepin em till next year sometime. I just would like some real life input on this concern. Btw its a 2 door. My only thought was that I could always get longer bumpstops??? Any input is appreciated!!!

Thanks for the reply. My main concern is tires rubbing on flares disconnected with 4 people in the jeep. Im assuming when the TF site and everyone here says it will clear they do mean "disconnected "??

I installed a 2.5 Teraflex coil lift on my 09 and it cleared the 35's with no rubbing or issues. I have it installed on my 2011 with 33's, and I have a ton of room for 35's if I chose to run them.

Depends on backspacing on wheels. I have 35s with the 2.5 coil lift with no rubbing anywhere. I go rock climbing so I air down to 10psi and disconnect sway bars. Had a passenger up front and not a single issue. I have 2 door X soft top.

Sounds good! Well I will have em on 17 inch moabs with 1.5 inch spidertrax spacers... Sounds like I will be ok then. I suppose that if you add wight to the Jeep like bumpers you can add 1/2 or 3/4 inch spacers to get back to original height without any ill effects. Am I thinkin right?

buy the 4 door kit even though you have a 2 door, you'll have lot's of clearence for your 35's even with aftermarket bumpers, winch, tire carrier, etc...
that's what I'm running....

If I'm not mistaken teraflex's lifts are for the 4 door and the 2.5 is the minimum amount of lift u will get on a 4 door hard top with all options. On my 2 door soft top I got more like 3.25-3.5 inches of lift. If u have a 2 door automatic u may run into the issue with your drive shaft boot. Once I do the bumpers front and rear I will be adding the spacers to level out or might just go for gold and get the bigger lift with the flex arms and sell my 2.5 coil lift. Thinking
